Ser Altruista!

"It takes only the act and art of selflessness to gain most of the things we want in life, you bring yourself closer to your blessings unknowingly" -Dr.Psalmzy

Ser altruista simply means 'be altruistic'.
What does it mean to be altruistic?
From the dictionary's definition: it simply means to be regardful of others; to be beneficent; to be  unselfish; to be humane; to be selfless.

Now you get the reason why the I quoted the first paragraph?

We are born neutral with no sense of selflessness or selfishness but our interaction with our immediate environment changed us and thus, we're infected with selfishness.

Gradually, we thought of the concept of the survival of the fittest, thence, we want to be fit so as not to be thrown away making us not to regard others (all we do is think of ourselves).

Life is more simpler when you don't think too much of your own self, when our standard for making decisions is not based on our own self-interests and when we don't have regard for our own self above other's well being.

I'll round up with this inspiring story which was shared with me recently:

Lots of packages were delivered to a large number of people and there was no arrangement to distribute the packages, thus, everyone had to search for his own (individual names were printed on each package). You know what it means for a thousand people to be searching for their different names on all the packages at the same time.
But there was this particular man who devoted his time and strength to pick one after the other and distribute the packages to others. And there, just picking a few numbers, he found his own easily when others are still there fighting to get theirs.

Selflessness brings us closer to achieving our goals. In fact, respect is easily earned on the platform of selflessness.

Don't take others' well being for granted because of your own interests, don't be selfish!!!

Welcome to a new day!!!
