Herbert Simon on Finding Your Limits

“One finds limits by pushing them.” ~ Herbert Simon

It is a dark world and as a matter of fact, we're in the dark age!!!
The world where everything is so dark that we can't even see where we are going to except we have an exceptional light.

Limitations are everywhere!!! Everyone, every situation has limits, human is LIMITED!!!

But the most fascinating and disturbing issue is that many of us are not limited or the time of limitations has expired without we knowing.
We call some things limitations; which they are not!!!

How can you know what your limits are if you’ve never pushed them? This quote is good not only for encouraging you to find your own limitations, if you have any, but also for testing the limits of what is possible out in the world.

Sitting by and thinking you have limits without actually finding out if you do or not is akin to the story of how an elephant won’t try to break the simple rope that ties him down because as a baby they chained him up with a heavy chain.

Imagine an elephant that has grown with a simple rope tied to its neck, the rope limits the elephant when it was a baby but as it grows older and bigger it couldn't realise the fact that the rope is just a simple rope which can be broken in a split of seconds.

That's what we do to ourselves most times, we are limited by the things we're used to or with the things people say about us or about what we want to do.

How many limits do you put on yourself that aren’t even real?

Until you try breaking them, you won't know they are not existing.

Try breaking the limits!!!

Have a great week!
