Don't Eat Up Your Seeds, They are Meant to be Sown [Read more]

The understanding of agricultural practices, especially crop production has made us to understand the essence and importance of sowing seeds.

In my previous article, How Prepared Are You?, it was clearly stated that there's a need for adequate preparation in order to receive or achieve things we want to; a reference to farming was made.
Seeds are meant to be sown not for consumed.
No wonder, a farmer will always divide his harvested crops into two parts; a part for consumption and the other for another planting session.
He dare not touch the part separated for the next planting session because, that is where he would get more to consume in the next year.

A farmer who eats up his seeds will definitely beg when the harvest time comes. He will have nothing at the time of harvest.

How does this apply to us?
Thank goodness for your income, pocket money and all other source of income you've got. Saving for the raining day is highly important.

Have you wondered why insects don't come out in large number during the rainy season? They've sourced for all they would need in the rainy season during the dry season.
It is same with us, SAVE for the rainy day!!!

This doesn't mean you hoarding your money, you can make investments where profits will come in, you can give to the poor around you, you can give to those who needs help, you can give scholarships to the less privileges and so many other ways.

Don't eat what is meant to be sown else you'll be in trouble.
